Dinora Padilla-Avina Bio
I am an experienced early childhood education professional and a dedicated mother of four, passionate about fostering learning through play and community engagement. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Texas Woman’s University and an Associate of Arts in Teaching from NCTC. With over 15 years of leadership in nonprofit early childhood education, I have successfully guided two early childhood centers to achieve top ratings through Texas Rising Star. My expertise lies in creating high-quality learning environments that support children’s growth, empower educators, and strengthen families.
Bio
My name is Sierah Haines. I am 22 years old and originally from Houston, TX. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor Degree in 2D Studio Art. I have been the Assistant Manager since August 2024, and my favorite thing is combining experimental learning with art and play. Outside of work my hobbies include: poetry, art (of course!), and discovering Denton’s awesome music venues! I guide a lot of our programs here, so feel free to ask me any questions!

My name is Katie Frizzell. I go to the University of North Texas, and I study elementary education! I have worked at Explorium for over two years and in my free time, I love to go to concerts and craft.

My name is Marlene Zamudio and I am a full time college student at Texas Woman’s University pursuing a EC-6 Education degree with a bilingual certification. I have been a Playexpert at Explorium since January 2024, and I really enjoy working in our homeschool enrichment program. Outside of work, I like trying new hobbies and one of my life goals is to visit every national park!

I am passionate about early childhood learning and have been in the field for 10 years. I love to foster the growing need for play in young children, my own 2 year old keeps me inspired with new ideas all the time. I am so happy to be splitting my time at Explorium and at home with my little one.
