DESCRIPTION:For children ages 8-12\, completed grades 2-5\n Participants will enjoy embarking on a journey to investigate what the moon is like\, how scientist and astronauts explore space\, and many other activities.  \nPlease bring a water bottle and a light snack. We will host our camp in our make and think area to allow for social distancing instead of our usual classroom set up. We will also only have our camp staff and campers in our museum. DESCRIPTION:For children ages 6-12\, having completed K-5th grade\nJoin Dino Bo for a fun filled summer camp hosted by the Explorium. Over the course of 2 days your kids will take on the role of junior paleontologists! Together we will learn how dinosaurs ate\, hunted\, and lived. Our Junior Paleontologists will also learn how to excavate and will search for and bring home real fossils! We will only have 16 spots available. \nPlease bring a water bottle and a light snack. We know that washing your hands regularly and properly is the number one way you can prevent the spread of germs or flu. Therefore\, we have signs in all bathrooms reminding our visitors and staff of proper hand-washing procedures\, and we provide alcohol-based hand sanitizers at locations throughout the Museum.\nIn our make and think area we will have single use materials and tools labeled in containers to prevent multiple people using the same items.\nOur baby area will be temporarily closed and we ask that you help us keep items from being mouthed. We will have multiple containers labeled “needs to be sanitized.”\nStaff will be wearing masks. We encourage parents and children to wear masks but it will not be mandatory.\nThe water fountain will be closed off please bring your own water bottle.\nAnd\, as always\, we remind all visitors and staff that the best way to prevent the spread of any virus is to stay home if they are feeling unwell. We reserve the right to ask anyone to please visit when they are feeling better.\n\nOur team will be constantly cleaning and sanitizing while members play.
